Başak Taş Özdemir is the founder and lead designer of Spiga Landscape. For more than twenty years, she has been producing landscape projects across different regions and contexts. Her work spans a wide range of scales and typologies, including residential developments, hotels, mixed-use environments, and private estates.

Her design approach focuses on establishing a balanced relationship between architecture and nature, creating planting compositions that strengthen the character of a place. Each project is developed as a site-specific landscape language, shaped by its geography, climate, and user experience.

Planting design, topography, and materiality are considered together to create landscapes that are both resilient and sustainable over time. The design process is carried out with a holistic perspective, from concept development through the implementation phase.

Today, Spiga Landscape collaborates with architects, investors, and developers in both national and international projects, designing refined and powerful outdoor spaces that complement and elevate architectural environments
